This week’s #RaiderSnapshot features some impressive hands-on learning happening in Mrs. Sabers' class.
In Biology, students participated in the Battle of the Beaks, an activity where they tested different beak designs to see how they competed for various food sources. It’s always a favorite way to see foraging skills in action.
Meanwhile, STEAM students have been busy with laser engraving and 3D printing. One highlight is Tate’s recent project: he took a cutting board he built in woods class last semester and added a beautiful laser-engraved highland cow design to it.
Great work to all the students involved in these creative projects. We hope everyone has an amazing long weekend and Easter!

Congratulations to our last two weeks of Leadership, Pride, and Achievement Winners: Meah Fisher, Austin Francis and Tate Schlauderaff, Michael Rislund, Marcus Bromeling, Elijah Jacobson, Alivia Jacobson, Lilly Johnson, and Harper Bach!
We also had a studio class that created jingle dress patterns!

We are celebrating student activities in this #RaiderSnapshot!
A huge congratulations goes out to our Business Professionals of American group for their outstanding performance at the State competition! Many of our individuals and groups excel in BPA.
PAY (Philanthropy and Youth) also gave their Boardroom Presentation at NDSU, and were able to donate $6,000 to local nonprofits. Nice work!
Finally, a studio got to play an Ojibwe matching game!

A huge congratulations goes out to our Business Professionals of American group for their outstanding performance at the State competition! Many of our individuals and groups excel in BPA.

Players from the Raider Varsity Band recently competed in Sub-Section Solo and Ensemble contest. All of them performed excelently! We would like to share these pieces with you all during our Varsity Band Recital, Tuesday, March 24th. Performances start at 7:00 PM and will feature select Soloists, and small ensembles. Join us then in the Lake Park Audubon High School Theater in Lake Park.

The Blossom Ball dance for grades 7 & 8 will take place on Friday, March 13 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Admission is $3.
The Spring Formal dance for grades 9-12 will take place on Saturday, March 14 from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Admission is $5.

Studios: Mandaamin Keychains
This week in studios, students stayed busy crafting corn keychains. It was a great way to be creative while also learning that the Ojibwe word for corn is mandaamin.
Knowledge Bowl Success
LPA’s top Knowledge Bowl team had an incredible showing recently, placing 3rd out of 21 teams! A huge congratulations goes out to Lily Bach, Mara Bestge, Josh Stone, and Michael Rislund for their hard work and impressive performance.
PBIS Students of the Week
We also want to give a shoutout to Abbigail and Carter for being named our PBIS students of the week. Thank you for setting such a positive example for everyone at our school!
