It's Grandparent's Day at LPA!!!

3rd graders made pumpkin characters from their favorite books to share with their grandparents on Grandparent's Day!

Today we celebrated some of our favorite people — our grandparents!
The halls were filled with smiles, hugs, stories, and so much love as our students welcomed their grandparents to school.

Thank you to all the grandparents (and grandfriends!) who joined us to make this day so special. Your presence means the world to our students — and to all of us here at LPA Elementary.

Several LPA Elementary students from the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church were part of a sock drive this fall. Thank you students for contributing to our community!

The first graders enjoyed a beautiful afternoon at the Anderson Pumpkin Place on Friday. They had a great time learning about pumpkins, squash, and gourds. The hayride was AMAZING!

Mr. Johnson had a special guest today on the LPA Elementary Announcements! LPA students have loved video announcements this year! We are excited to have more guests in the future!

It's National Walk to School Day! Instead of walking to school, Mrs. Carlson's class decided to walk around school.

Cristy Goulet was a special guest at the elementary school today. She shared Ojibwe, Lakota, Dakota, & Nakota songs, instruments, and language with the students. We were so happy to have her!!!

Mrs. Wilson's class earned their second coin tube reward!!! They celebrated with pajama day today.
