Today is Red Ribbon Day at the elementary school. Students are learning about making good choices in many areas of their lives. We also incorporated a visit from the fire department to ensure students know about fire safety.
How many bones are in the human body? First graders are kicking off their study of body systems with the skeletal system! Ask a first grader what they’ve learned.

LPA Elementary Fall Parent/Teacher Conferences.
Monday, November 2nd & Thursday, November 5th, with 1:30 pm dismissal both days.
No School on Friday, November 6th.
We will be having our 2nd annual Halloween parade next Friday at 2:20. Friends and family are invited to join us as we will take a lap outside to show off our costumes.
The parade route will run from door A to door O. Friends and families can line the sidewalk/street for the event.
Please do not park in the bus lane on the east side of the building. We will put out cones to assist.
Parents will be allowed inside the building after the parade to sign out their students.

Our 1st graders had an absolute blast on our field trip to Anderson Pumpkin Place!
The students loved learning all about pumpkins, squash, and gourds, exploring their different shapes and sizes, and—of course—taking a festive hayride around the farm!
