Attention 5th and 6th grade parents! If your Raider student is interested in signing up for band, Mr. Eklund will be available to meet with you during open house next week. He will be at the Elementary from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and at the High School from 5:15 until 7:00 PM. Also! Look out for an email with information sent to 5th grade parents. 6th graders who aren't in band are still able to join, reach out if you are interested! Raider Academy Session 1 was a hit!
Our K–3rd grade crew dove into reading, math, and writing—and had a blast with SMART (Stimulating Maturity through Accelerated Readiness Training). The 4–6th grade students got creative in studios while sharpening their math and reading skills. One of the highlights? They built their very own greenhouses! 🌱📚
Each student picked out some great books to enjoy until we meet again for Session 2!
Today is the last day of school! The elementary school will be dismissed at 12:20 p.m. today, and the high school will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m. Have a great summer!
Another great "Team Up" with TEAM Industries for our 3rd graders. Thank you TEAM for being a huge supporter of LPA Elementary students.
4th-6th Grade Talent Show! Wednesday May 21st
Rain changed our second grader's plans, but the fun didn’t stop! They turned the day into an adventure with an indoor picnic, playground fun, a movie, surprise treats from the ice cream truck, and a special visit from Mrs. Vetter! What a memorable day!
The 3rd grade class enjoyed their field trip to Itasca State Park! They were able to cross the mighty Mississippi and enjoy a picnic lunch.
Congratulations to our 3rd-grade students for winning our elementary MCA challenge! They had a fun trip to the Four Star Ninja Academy.

The second graders spent a couple of weeks learning about different habitats and which plants and animals can survive in each one. They ended by creating their own diorama including a food chain for their chosen habitat. They sure had a blast!
