Last night, Sunday, April 14th, the LPA Raiders Fishing Team had Jackson Baker speaking. Jackson is a student at Alexandria Technical and Community College, who is on their Legends Fishing Team and competes competitively. He shared his experiences of fishing from high school through college. He talked about opportunities and scholarships available to students as they look ahead. He also shared some of his favorite techniques for catching fish and what equipment and tackle he uses.

Congratulations to the following students on winning the Student March Madness Bracket Pool! Thank you to all the 7th-12th Graders who participated and filled out brackets this year! The top 3 brackets in the student pool earned a prize. Thank you to Mrs. Meindl for organizing the competition!

Taste of Talent is back at LPA! This Friday in the LPA High School Theater, come see local musicians share their talents! Donations will go towards LPA Music and Drama. The show starts at 7:00 PM!
The Raider Fishing Team had their first meet yesterday with Brady Baxter from Baxstar Fishing as the guest speaker. They learned about lake fishing and Brady's strategies for success.

The special election for an operating levy increase is next Tuesday, April 9. Ballots will be accepted until 8 p.m. on April 9. If you have not already done so, you can mail or hand deliver your ballot to the district office. As always, thank you for supporting Lake Park Audubon Public Schools.

The Varsity Band concert for tonight has been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 27th at 10:30 AM in the High School Theater. Join us as we feature Soloists, Small Ensembles, and our Raider Jazz Band.
