There will be a community meeting on Wednesday, October 14, at 6:00, in the LPA High School auditorium. There will also be a community meeting on Tuesday, October 20, at 6:00, in the LPA Elementary media center.
The purpose of these meetings is to inform residents of the operating referendum, explain the 2 questions with an estimated tax impact, discuss the Seasonal Recreation Property Tax Base Replacement Aid (STBRA), find out where the funding will go, and answer any questions people might have.
