TESTING SCHEDULE 2024-2025
10/15/2024: ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery)
The ASVAB is a multiple-aptitude battery that measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupations success. It is offered to all 11th graders for the Career Exploration Program component. (approximately 3 hours) Students will receive their score reports in November.
10/29/2024: PSAT/NMSQT (Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test):
The PSAT assesses Critical Reading, Writing, and Math. Offered to 11th graders. (approximately 3.5 hours) Score reports are available online when the College Board releases them to students. Students will receive an email from the College Board with an access code to view their scores in their College Board account
03/20/2025: ACT (3 - 4 hours)
The American College Testing is a college entrance exam that assesses Math, Reading, English, Science, and Writing. The ACT is accepted by all four-year universities and colleges in the U.S. Score reports are available 4-6 weeks after testing. The test will be offered to 11th graders.
03/07/2025 - 03/12/2025: ACCESS Testing (3-4 hours)
ACCESS for ELLs is a secure large-scale English language proficiency assessment administered to Kindergarten through 12th grade students who have been identified as English language learners (ELLs)
03/03/2025 - 05/02/2025: MTAS (1.5 - 2.5 hours)
The Minnesota Test of Academic Skills (MTAS) is a standards-based assessment for students with significant cognitive disabilities in Minnesota. The MTAS is an alternate assessment that measures student progress toward Minnesota's academic standards and is given in place of the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCAs).
04/07/2025 - 04/11/2025: MCA Reading 7th Grade (1 - 2.5 hours)
The Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCA’s) are the state tests that help districts measure student progress toward Minnesota’s academic standards and also meet federal and state legislative requirements. Preliminary scores are available usually within 60 minutes of completing testing. Individual Score Reports are given to families during Open House (last week in August).
04/07/2025 - 04/11/2025: MCA Reading 8th Grade (1 - 2.5 hours)
The Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCA’s) are the state tests that help districts measure student progress toward Minnesota’s academic standards and also meet federal and state legislative requirements. Preliminary scores are available usually within 60 minutes of completing testing. Individual Score Reports are given to families during Open House if they are available.
04/07/2025: MCA Reading 10th Grade (1 - 2.5 hours)
The Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCA’s) are the state tests that help districts measure student progress toward Minnesota’s academic standards and also meet federal and state legislative requirements. Preliminary scores are available usually within 60 minutes of completing testing. Individual Score Reports are given to families during Open House (last week in August). Students are allowed to be placed into concurrent enrollment and PSEO courses based on their eligible high school MCA Reading Score.
04/14/2025: MCA Math 11th Grade (1 - 2 hours)
The Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCA’s) are the state tests that help districts measure student progress toward Minnesota’s academic standards and also meet federal and state legislative requirements. Preliminary scores are available usually within 60 minutes of completing testing. Individual Score Reports are given to families during Open House (last week in August). Students are allowed to be placed into concurrent enrollment and PSEO courses based on their eligible high school MCA Math Score.

05/07/2025: AP English Literature and Composition Exam (approximately 3 hours)
AP Exams measure achievement in the AP Course. The scores can be used by college and universities to determine if they will grant students credit for what they’ve already learned, or allow you to skip the equivalent course once you get to college. AP scores are available in July.
05/08/2025: AP Statistics
AP Exams measure achievement in the AP Course. The scores can be used by college and universities to determine if they will grant students credit for what they’ve already learned, or allow you to skip the equivalent course once you get to college. AP scores are available in July.
05/13/2025: AP Pre-Calculus
AP Exams measure achievement in the AP Course. The scores can be used by college and universities to determine if they will grant students credit for what they’ve already learned, or allow you to skip the equivalent course once you get to college. AP scores are available in July.
