Lake Park Audubon School District prepares students with the academic, social, and life skills to succeed in a changing world. Upon graduation, LPA students are prepared for a College and/or Career path.
Students are offered a variety of courses aligned with the District Strategic Plan to promote rigor for all students. Concurrent enrollment classes are offered in English, Social Studies and Mathematics. CTE (Career Technical Education) courses enhance options for students entering the workforce or seeking post-secondary education.
Every student in grades 7-12 is equipped with a 1:1 Chromebook or computer.
PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support) is a District wide proactive approach to establishing behavioral supports and social culture needed for all students to achieve social, emotional and academic success.
Project Based Learning applying STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) is implemented throughout the curriculum through collaborative teaching by 7-12 teachers.
Multiple opportunities are provided for students through extracurricular activities in athletics, fine arts, Knowledge Bowl, Math Competition, Envrionthon, NHS, Student Council, Speech and Philanthropy as Youth.
