A Time to Give Thanks

Last week brought an opportunity to express what we are thankful for. This often results in us reflecting on the people and events we regularly take for granted. Here at school, we do not share enough about how thankful we are for the support you provide us. This was reinforced over the past month through your attendance at our shared breakfast (Muffin’s in the Morning) and your child’s parent/teacher conference. I can’t express enough how fortunate we are to be apart of the greater Lake Park Audubon Communities. It was great to have breakfast with everyone and to host our families in the building again. Conference night resulted 97% (all but 3 families) of our families took time out of busy schedules or making other arrangements to connect about their student’s education. Thank for making this happen, as it is not common everywhere like it is common at LPA!

Looking ahead to December, we have 3 weeks left with students before Winter Break. Our teachers will continue to create great experiences for your students and engage them in the learning process. There will be additional opportunities for many families to visit the school during musical performances as noted below.

On the last day before break (1:15 dismissal) we will be collecting donations to the Salvation Army during our annual school-wide movie.
