1/22/2021 ANNOUNCEMENTS

2. Any schedule changes for second semester need to be done by Tuesday, January 26th

3. If anyone is interested in Robotics, there will be a meeting in Ms. Daigle's room on Tuesday, January 26th during the Advisory period.

4. DRESS CODE--HEADGEAR

Examples of prohibited attire would include, but not be limited to, the following (except on school-sanctioned, dress-up days)

Headgear: Sunglasses, caps, hoods worn up, hats, scarves, visors, bandanas;

When a student’s appearance violates these expectations, the student will be required to modify his/her attire; otherwise, be sent to the high school office. Depending on the violation, the student will surrender the item to the administration (or designee). The student’s parent/guardian will be contacted if necessary; further corrective action may be taken for repetitive or extreme offenses.

5. **** PSAT **** Juniors that signed up to take the PSAT, just a reminder that it will be on Tuesday, January 26th. We will start promptly at 8:25am.The cost of the test is $16 unless you receive free/reduced lunch. Please pay the test fee prior to taking the test. Checks can be made to LPA and brought to the Counseling Office.

3. Winter Sports starting today, hoping your parents registered you online. You must be registered & paid before you can start practicing.

2. If you are interested in participating in Robotics this year, please go see Ms. Daigle, or send her an email at edaigle@lpa.k12.mn.us by WEDNESDAY, December 23rd!

3. Winter Sports will be starting on January 4th . If you are planning on participating in Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, or Wrestling please have your parents register you online. You must be registered and paid before you can start practicing.

4. The One-Act Play will be starting soon! Please be on the lookout for more information to come.

5. "NHS Meeting in the FCS room on Friday, December 18th at 8:00 AM. A Google Meeting link will be sent to those students that are unable to meet in person. If you are unable to attend the meeting in person or virtually, please let Mrs. Hogie know in advance." CJH
